1. Adding faucet or toilet water to your sample: There are several reasons why this method should/can not be used: 
a. Water will lower the temperature of the sample too much
b. It will throw off the pH level and add other chemicals like chlorine.
c. Many testing facilities will have the test administrator listen to see if someone is using the faucet for this purpose, and will put coloring in the toilet water.
2. Adding bleach, salt, vinegar or visine: Some of these might be effective in covering up the metabolites in the urine, but at the same time, could also throw off the pH test which will return unfavorable results.
3. Claiming that you took a false positive inducing product right before the test such as Aleve, Ibuprofen, or Tylenol. Modern-day urine tests can distinguish between these and THC metabolites.
4. Drinking Golden Seal Tea: This substance has proven effective in the past but may now be dangerous to take before a test since many labs now test for it. If this tea is found in your sample, this could be reported to your employer.
5. Taking a Niacin B Vitamin: A common myth associated with this vitamin is that if you take a large amount, you will feel a burning/itching sensation when you urinate which is the THC metabolites coming out of your system. This is false. 
6. Smoking a lot of marijuana before taking the test: It is believed that urine tests have an upper cut-off level, so if a person were to smoke a large amount of marijuana right before, the THC level in their urine would surpass the cut-off point. This is not only dangerous for obvious reasons, it is also not proven to be true.
