Also, it would be difficult for companies to coordinate drug tests for employees and applicants that are in many places, instead of at one office. While many of the other jobs that do not require drug tests are entry-level blue-collar jobs, remote jobs that do not require drug tests may be high-level white-collar positions. Even high-level executive positions rarely require drug tests if the employee works remotely.
